Job description

Duties:
On board there are TWO Security Guards only.
The working hours from a minimum of 10 hours to the max of 13 hours per day.
Security Guard works at the gangway while in port and patrolling the ship areas when sailing.
Candidate must have knowledge of International Security ISPS Code.
Security Guard must have knowledge of computer and in particular with software as: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Security Guard deal via email with all messages related to the Security job as Pre-Arrival Security Notification, Declaration of Security and visitors request for crew and guests.
Share a cabin with his colleague Security
Prepare monthly checks and inventories of:
 Metal keys,
 Magnetic cards
 Radios
 Digilocks
 Check and maintenance of all Security equipment
 Prepare the night report to inform SSO of any situation happened during the night
 Investigate and prepare report for all the security issues for crew and guests.
 Voyage Security Reports
 Update name tag outside the crew cabins
 Random deep crew cabin inspection authorized by Staff Captain
 Passenger suite search when needed.
 Check and print Port Manning List every night
 Keep Office and Security files updated and in order for any inspection
 Security Induction to all new embarked crew.
 Witness the alcohol and drug tests done in Medical Center
